Romans 10: 14-15

But how are they to call on him in whom they have not believed? And how are they to believe in him of whom they have never heard? And how are they to hear without someone preaching? And how are they to preach unless they are sent? As it is written, "How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the good news!"

how to say goodbye..again.

Its early. My brother just left this morning. I just got back from taking him to the airport. I remember back in va, ppl saying that with this career/job, be prepared to say plenty of goodbyes.. within the past few months i've had to say so many painful goodbyes. im beginning to realize how true it is what i heard back in va. but its ok though.. i know as tough as these goodbyes are and will continue to be, the joy of seeing each of you all again will be even greater. so even though ive had to say goodbyes to lots of loved ones back home, and to new lifelong friends, i long for the day when the goodbyes turn into hellos. by no means do i wish i was home. i am fully committed to what i am doing here...its just that sometimes i dont know how to say goodbye.

The not so great part of our job. Though, they pale in comparison to His glories and riches that He so abundantly supplies to us! It has been a blessing working with vol. groups and a summer vol. The good-byes are hard though. Your's were to family too. How much more difficult? But, Father faithfully provides during these times.

Dude, you're right on with this post! I can't even imagine how Paul experienced saying goodbyes too when he said "So, affectionately longing for you, we were well pleased to impart to you not only the gospel of God, but also our own lives, because you had become dear to us." How he longed for his friends! I pray that the ways you've poured yourself out to your brother and these volunteer groups will bear fruit that you'll get to see when you see them again here or at the Lord's table! It's an incredible joy to me to see you pour yourself out bro, this world needs more men of God who are willing to do this through the pain! I love you man, and I love your heart!

Maybe it's not a goodbye necessarily, but rather a see you around. I always hate saying goodbyes, but in the end, is it really goodbye? If that person is a believer, you will see them again. To that, I say "see you around." It's good to hear from you Matt. I'm praying for you chief.
