more sightseeing...

Hey all.. every week my teacher and I usually take a day to go sightseeing. this past thursday we visited a little barrio with a nice iglesia... it was a nice little hike down to it though. we also visited a big park here in Quito, Carolina Park. I took a lot of pics so I think i will probably post a couple more times with pics from this day...enjoy!

this is one of the paintings.. the caption said something like, "the ppl in the fire interceding to the saints." it reminded me of the story of the rich man and lazarus..

i wasn't to happy that we had to walk up this big hill bc there was about 5,000 taxis just chillin there..


this was about half way up the dumb hill.. i was soooo tired.
